ChromeDust

ChromeDust is a Chrome extension designed to interrupt browser fingerprinting efforts. Browser fingerprinting is a method of tracking that identifies you across different websites by using unique information about your Internet browser and computer. ChromeDust gives you the option to randomize some of the most common tracking features on each page load, making it more difficult for these browser fingerprinting services to track your online activity. Browser fingerprinting is constantly evolving tracking method and therefore an extension like ChromeDust must be similarly regularly improving. We hope that the open-source nature of ChromeDust will encourage technical experts to contribute to the effort to combat browser fingerprinting.

Note: To further impede the efforts of browser fingerprinting, we strongly suggest some form of Flash-blocking extension be run simultaneously with ChromeDust.
